Pause and restart recording a macro

Applies to: Microsoft Office Word 2003

To suspend recording, click Pause Recording on the Stop Recording toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click Customize on the Tools menu, and then click the Toolbars tab.) that appears when you are recording a macro (macro: An action or a set of actions you can use to automate tasks. Macros are recorded in the Visual Basic for Applications programming language.).
Perform any actions you don't want to record.
To resume recording, click Resume Recorder .
