Move or resize an ActiveX control

Do one or more of the following:

If you want to move the ActiveX control (ActiveX control: A control, such as a check box or button that offers options to users or runs macros or scripts that automate a task. You can write macros for the control in Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications or scripts in Microsoft Script Editor.), select the control, and then drag it to another location.
If you want to resize the control, select the control, and then drag one of the sizing handles (sizing handle: One of the small circles or squares that appears at the corners and sides of a selected object. You drag these handles to change the size of the object.).

Show Tips

To retain the proportions of the control, hold down SHIFT while you drag a corner sizing handle.
If you want to set an exact size for a control, right-click the control you want to resize, click Format Control, and then on the Size tab, select the size options you want.
