Delete a slide master or title master

Applies to: Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003

When you delete a slide master (slide master: The slide that stores information about the design template applied, including font styles, placeholder sizes and positions, background design, and color schemes.), the title master (title master: The slide that stores information from the design template pertaining to styles on title slides, including placeholder sizes and positions, background design, and color schemes.) is automatically deleted with it.

On the View menu, point to Master, and then click Slide Master.
In the thumbnails on the left, click the master you want to delete.
On the Slide Master View toolbar, click Delete Master .
