About the thumbnail pane

Use the thumbnail pane to select a page in a document for viewing in the page pane (page pane: Displays the page that's selected in the thumbnail pane in a larger size, and enables portions of the page to be selected and copied.) or in Reading view (Reading view: Presents a full-screen view of a single page or portion of a page for easy on-screen reading.). When you click an image in the thumbnail pane, that page appears in the page pane.

You can show or hide the thumbnail pane by clicking Thumbnail Pane on the View menu.
