Format text as superscript or subscript
 
  1. Select the text you want to format as superscript or subscript.
  2. On the Format menu, click Font.
  3. Select the Superscript or Subscript check box.

ShowTip

Microsoft PowerPoint automatically applies superscript formatting to ordinal numbers. To turn this setting off or on, on the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect Options, click the AutoFormat As You Type tab, and then clear or select the Ordinals (1st) with superscript check box.
