Show or hide the AutoCorrect Options button

  1. On the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect, and then click the AutoCorrect tab.
  2. Do one of the following:

    ShowShow the button

    • Select the Show AutoCorrect Options buttons check box.

Note  After an automatic correction occurs, rest the mouse pointer near the corrected text and point to the small, blue box that appears. When you see the AutoCorrect Options button Button image, click the arrow to see the options.

    ShowHide the button

    • Clear the Show AutoCorrect Options buttons check box.

Note  When the button is hidden, you still have automatic text correction for all the options you've selected in the AutoCorrect dialog box; you just don't get the button options after a correction.
