Temporarily turn off text AutoFit

When text AutoFit is on, the AutoFit Options button Button image appears to the left of the text the first time text is resized.

  1. Click the AutoFit Options button.
  2. Click Stop Fitting Text to This Placeholder.

The spillover text is not resized, and text AutoFit is off for this placeholder (placeholders: Boxes with dotted or hatch-marked borders that are part of most slide layouts. These boxes hold title and body text or objects such as charts, tables, and pictures.), for the current Microsoft PowerPoint session. However, this doesn't affect the AutoFit setting in the AutoCorrect dialog box.
