Some commands don't appear under Send To on the File menu

If you haven't installed an e-mail program (such as Microsoft Office Outlook 2003) on your computer, the Mail Recipient and Routing Recipient commands won't appear on the Microsoft Office Word 2003 Send To submenu (File menu).

If you install Outlook, but you still don't see the Mail Recipient (as Attachment) menu item in Word, do the following:

  1. On the Word Tools menu, click Options, and then click the General tab.
  2. Select the Mail as attachment check box, and then click OK.
