Insert stock quote data into your workspace

With the Microsoft Office System you can use the Research task pane to insert MSN Money Stock Quote prices into your workspace.

Microsoft Office Excel 2003 and Microsoft Office Word 2003 provide extended functionality with the Office 2003 Stock Quotes Add-in which allows you to perform actions such as "Insert concise stock table" or "Insert refreshable stock data".

When you insert a table into your workspace, you can then point to it to expose the smart tag actions. You can make interesting dynamic changes such as "Display Complete table" or "View XML Structure".

  1. On the Tools menu, click Research.
  2. In the Search for list, click MSN Money Stock Quotes.
  3. In the Search for box, type the stock symbol you want. Results appear in the Research task pane.
  4. To view the insert options, scroll down to the end of the stock information.
