Business Contact Manager Data restore

You can use your backup files to restore (To remove a record or item from the deleted folder and relink it to the record it was linked to before it was deleted.) your database to an earlier version. This protects your data against loss. If you uninstall Business Contact Manager and later want to reinstall it, you can use your backup files to restore your business data.

  1. On the File menu, click Business Database, and then click Restore.
  2. In the Select the data file to restore from box, enter the location and name of the backup file. If your backup files are on a removable disk, insert the disk.

Note  Insert the last disk of the series first; the last disk contains instructions about which files to restore.

  3. If your files are password protected, enter the password in the Password box, and then click OK.

To get assistance completing a page in the wizard, click Helpicon image on that page.
