The purple dotted lines beneath text in your presentation indicate that a smart tag is available.

Smart tag indicators

1. Move the insertion point over text underlined with a purple dotted line until the Smart Tag Actions button appears.
2. Click the down arrow to see the actions you can perform, and then select an action.
