When you want to use PerformancePoint Planning Business Modeler to work with models and dimensions, or with rules that perform business tasks, you must select a model site to open. After you complete your work, you can save your changes, and if desired, close the site and open another model site.

What do you want to do?

Open a model site

  1. On the File menu, click Connect to display the Connect dialog box.
  2. In the Select a server box, type a server name, or select one from the drop-down list.
  3. Click the Connect button.
  4. In the Select an application drop-down list, select an application.
  5. In the Select a model site tree, select the model site that you want to open, and then click OK.
  6. To open a model in the model site, double-click the model name.
