Listen in to Office podcasts

Listening through drinking glass: (c) Corbis

Podcasts, like blogging, are spreading across the Internet like chickenpox on a 5-year-old. So the people behind Microsoft Office Online have posted some audio files for your enjoyment. There are interviews with various Microsoft product managers — lots to interest you, especially with the lowdown on the new 2007 Office system programs.

When you don't have time to listen to one of the longer interviews, we have a few very short snippets of the Crabby Office Lady in action.

These podcasts are an experiment for Office Online, so please let us know if you like, love, or loathe them by clicking the Yes or No button below the Was this information helpful? question at the very bottom of this page (scroll down to find it). In the comments box, you can let us know what you'd like to hear next: more interviews? shorter ones? informal chats with Office Online staff? Go on, make our day. If the podcasts are useful and you'd like more, we'll try to set up some regular podcasts with an RSS feed.

We are very grateful to all the product managers who participated in the interviews, and especially to Shawn Murray, a Microsoft field representative who recorded all the product manager interviews and let us borrow this content. Check out Shawn's own Web site too, The IW Center.
