Open a WordPerfect document in Word 2007

You can use Microsoft Office Word 2007 to open a document that was created in WordPerfect 5.x or 6.x.

 Important   If you make changes to the document, you cannot save it as a WordPerfect document.

 Note   The File menu has been replaced with the Microsoft Office Button Button image.

  1. Click the Microsoft Office Button Button image, and then click Open.
  2. In the Open dialog box, select WordPerfect 5.x or WordPerfect 6.x.
  3. Click the file, and then click Open.
