To display your personal or business photographs, you can create a PowerPoint photo album and you can add attention-grabbing slide transitions, colorful backgrounds and themes, specific layouts, and other effects to your photo album.

 Important   The From Scanner or Camera option for adding pictures to a presentation or photo album is not available in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007. For more information, see What happened to the From Scanner or Camera option for adding pictures to a presentation?

1. On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click the arrow under Photo Album, and then do one of the following:
   • To add a picture to a new photo album, click New Photo Album.
   • To add a picture to an existing photo album, click Edit Photo Album.

      Tip    To see Edit Photo Album on the menu, you must first open a presentation that contains a photo album.

2. In the Photo Album dialog box, under Insert picture from, click File/Disk.
3. In the Insert New Pictures dialog box, locate and click the picture that you want to add, and then click Insert.

 Notes 

• To preview a picture file in your photo album, in the Photo Album dialog box, in the Pictures in album list, select a picture name, and then view the picture in the Preview window.

• To change the order in which the pictures are displayed, in the Photo Album dialog box, in the Pictures in album list, select a picture name, and then click the arrow buttons to move it up or down within the list.

4. In the Photo Album dialog box, do one of the following:
   • To add a picture to a new photo album, click Create.
   • To add a picture to an existing photo album, click Update.
