Printed slides are off center or the wrong size

Applies to
Microsoft Office PowerPoint® 2003

Symptoms

When you print from PowerPoint, either your slides are not correctly centered on the page or they are not the right size.

Cause

The options in the Page Setup dialog box may not be set correctly.

Note   Remember that most printers cannot print to the very edge of the sheet. For information about the print areas that your printer supports, consult your printer documentation.

Resolution

To adjust the options in the Page Setup dialog box:

  1. On the File menu, click Page Setup.
  2. In the Slides sized for box, click the option that you want.

If you click Custom, make sure that the measurements in the Width and Height boxes are appropriate.
