Welcome to the online service that is part of the 2007 Microsoft Office system: the Office Online Web site. We have made significant changes to the site, and we invite you to explore it and tell us what you think. Use this site to learn more about the Microsoft Office system so that you can get more done with it.
Your feedback is important to us. Send us your comments or suggestions on the redesigned Office Online Web site.
What’s new
Our goal is to make it even easier for you to find help and how-to articles, training courses, templates, clip art, downloads, tools, and Web-based services that work with Office. Here are some of the big changes we have made.
Easier-to-use navigation
The new site layout is cleaner and less crowded, starting with the main home page. A new, tabbed navigation bar runs along the top of all our pages to make it easier for you to find what you want from anywhere on the site.

In addition, the left navigation bar is now contextual — that is, it's designed to show the links that are most relevant to the specific area of the site that you're in. For example, on the Microsoft Office Word home page, the Product Information and Help and How-to links take you directly to information that is specific to Microsoft Office Word.

A new way to find information on each product
We have created a new place on the site dedicated to the Microsoft Office system suites, programs, servers, and services. From the Products home page, you can find trial versions, and compare or buy products easily.
A more personal help experience
From brand-new content to old favorites, the Help and How-to home page is your comprehensive entry point for finding solutions that boost your skills. From there, you can browse for training courses, demos, columns, quizzes, help articles, and more.

The new Office Online also helps you find what you need faster by letting you customize the Help and How-to page to show help topics for the Office programs you have installed. You can either let Office Online detect the programs on your computer, or you can build your own list of programs for which you want to see content. To build your own list, go to the Help and How-to home page.

Templates galore
We’ve added more templates, including some for Microsoft Office Professional 2007, and redesigned the Templates home page to give you greater flexibility when searching for the right templates.
Do you have an interesting or useful template that you have created on your own? You can now submit your templates to Office Online and share them with the entire community.
