Product Prerequisites
Before you install Microsoft Office Business Scorecard Manager 2005, make sure that your hardware meets the requirements specified in this section and that you have installed all of the prerequisite software on each server computer you will use in the Business Scorecard Manager deployment. Software labeled "Required" is necessary for all Business Scorecard Manager deployments. Software labeled "Optional" is recommended for additional functionality, but you are not required to install it to use Business Scorecard Manager.

|
Provides functionality for viewing scorecards on a Web site and for creating shared scorecard portals.
Windows SharePoint Services is available to users of the Windows Server 2003 operating system, although you must download it from the Microsoft.com Web site. You must purchase SharePoint Portal Server 2003 separately.
Installation of Web Parts occurs on a specified virtual server, not on all virtual servers that are set up on a computer.
Required to use Web Parts, optional for a SQL Server Reporting Services-only installation.

Microsoft ADOMD.NET 8.0
|
ADOMD.NET is a .NET object model that is used by Business Scorecard Manager to query multidimensional data sources such as OLAP cubes hosted by Analysis Services.
