Curtis D. Frye is a freelance author living in Portland, Oregon. He is the author of Microsoft Excel Version 2003 Step by Step (2003), Faster Smarter Home Networking (2002), and several other books published by Microsoft Learning. In addition, he is the author of Privacy-Enhanced Business: Adapting to the Online Environment (Quorum Books, 2000) and the coauthor of Winning Secrets of Online Poker (Muska & Lipman, 2005). Before beginning his writing career in 1995, Curt spent four years with The MITRE Corporation as a defense trade analyst and one year as Director of Sales and Marketing for Digital Gateway Systems, an internet service provider. When not writing, Curt is a professional improvisational comedian with Portland’s ComedySportz group.
