Symptoms

After you change the default design for new blank presentations, you decide that you want to restore the original styles.

Resolution

To apply the original default design to a presentation, do the following:

1. Open the presentation to which you want to apply the default design.
2. On the Formatting toolbar, click Design .
3. In the Slide Design task pane, under Available For Use, click the first design template, Default Design.pot.

If you want to use the original default design for all new presentations, either rename the blank.pot file that you changed or delete it.
