Display the Drawing toolbar
 
Applies to
2003 version of the following Microsoft Office programs: Excel 2003,
FrontPage® 2003, Outlook 2003, PowerPoint® 2003, and Word 2003
2002 version of the following Microsoft Office programs: Excel 2002,
FrontPage® 2002, Outlook 2002, PowerPoint® 2002, and Word 2002
2000 version of the following Microsoft Office programs: Excel 2000,
FrontPage® 2000, Outlook 2000, PowerPoint® 2000, and Word 2000

Use the Drawing toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, press ALT and then SHIFT+F10.) to add the shapes and drawings that you want.

  1. From the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Drawing.

    If you are in Outlook, make sure you have a new message open.

  2. Move the Drawing toolbar to where you want it.

Note   When you drag a floating toolbar to the edge of the program window, it changes to a docked toolbar. Moving a docked toolbar may affect the location and size of other toolbars in the same row.
