Clip Art and Media site on Office Online

Microsoft Clip Organizer is a Microsoft Office tool that arranges and catalogs clip art and other media files stored on your hard disk.

Microsoft Clip Organizer

Clip Organizer can be used by itself—separately from any Office program—as a stand-alone program, and through the Clip Art task pane in Office programs such as Microsoft Excel, InfoPath™, PowerPoint®, Publisher, Visio®, and Word. There are several ways to open Clip Organizer.

How to open Clip Organizer

  1. In an Office program, click on the Insert menu, point to Picture, then select Clip Art. In the Clip Art task pane, click the Organize clips link.
  2. On the Start menu, click All Programs, point to Microsoft Office, point to Microsoft Office Tools, and then click Microsoft Clip Organizer.
  3. Download a clip from the Microsoft Office Online Clip Art and Media site. Clip Organizer automatically opens.
Note If you copy and paste clip art from the Web site, Clip Organizer does not open.

You can have several instances of Clip Organizer open, so if you're already working in Clip Organizer and then you download some new clip art, a second window will open. This isn't a problem—just close the extra windows.
