Translate your Healthcare Handouts

Healthcare and Office

Your New Year's resolution was to learn Spanish so you can communicate better with patients. April is now here and still, you're relying on Cristina to help translate your words into action. She turns English handouts into Spanish on immunization, dietary guidelines, current health alerts and more.

Cristina also translates forms such as registration, health history, and medical release authorization for patients. This makes them more comfortable while at the clinic and increases the accuracy of the data collected.

But wait. With Microsoft® Office 2003, you can free up Cristina to spend more time with patients and still get your handouts translated. Using the new Research feature, you can translate text easily, including your whole document in seven products in the Microsoft Office System, not just Microsoft Office Word 2003.

There's more. The next time you give a presentation, you can run the presentation in English and provide handouts in other languages such as Spanish or French. To tranlsate your slides, simply select the text you want to translate, and choose Look Up on the right-click menu. From the Research task pane, copy the new text and paste it into your slide over the English words. Voilà!
