Change one PowerPoint 97/2000 AutoShape to another

You have already drawn a PowerPoint® 2000 AutoShape, made it the perfect size, applied an animation, and changed the color. Now you find out that you need to use a different shape instead. Rather than draw a new AutoShape and reset all of the settings, just change the AutoShape. After changing the AutoShape, the new shape will have the same settings as the old shape.

To change an AutoShape
  1. Select the AutoShape you want to change.
  2. On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw.
  3. Point to Change AutoShape, and then choose the shape you want to use.
