Group PowerPoint 97/2000 objects to edit them all at once

You can make the same change to multiple PowerPoint® drawing objects at the same time by first grouping the objects. For example, if you have made several AutoShapes and want to make them all blue, you can group all of the shapes and then change the color. You can also move all of the objects at once, without losing the spacing between the objects.

To group drawing objects

  1. Select the drawing objects you want to group.
To select multiple objects, hold down SHIFT, and then select each object.
  2. On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, and then click Group.
To display the Drawing toolbar, click Toolbars on the View menu, and then click Drawing.
