Office 97 Service Release 2b is available for download and is free for registered users of Office 97. To acquire the patch, please check the Office 97 Service Release 2b (SR-2b) page.

If you are running Office 97 in a language other than U.S. or International English, please check the international releases page for links to localized versions.

SR-2b for OEM Customers

If you received Office 97 preinstalled on your computer from a hardware manufacturer, you can download SR-2b now. If you're a Microsoft OEM System Builder, connect to the Microsoft OEM System Builder web site for more information on downloading a System Builder version of SR-2b.
