Microsoft Office Groove Enterprise Services is composed of two components:
- Groove Enterprise Services Manager, which provides Web-based management services that allow administrators to set security and communication policies for Groove accounts, schedule periodic account backups, and view reports of Groove activity and usage statistics.
- Groove Enterprise Services Relay, which provides data relay services to transmit data between Groove clients when they cannot connect directly.
Groove Server utilizes highly efficient 64-bit architecture so fewer servers can support more users. Office Groove Server 2007 consists of three servers packaged in a suite:
