Enable or disable frames for browser compatibility

You can choose to enable or disable frames, depending on whether or not a browser supports frames.

  1. On the Tools menu, click Page Options, and then click the Authoring tab.
  2. Select or clear the Frames check box to enable or disable frames and frames pages.

Note  If you disable frames, or if you target a Web site for compatibility with a browser that doesn't support frames, the commands for inserting or using frames will be unavailable on menus in Microsoft FrontPage when you are creating your Web pages.

How-to information    Find links to information about working with frames in the See Also box, which is visible when you are connected to the Internet.
