Add a line break within a paragraph
 

You can add a new line of text in a paragraph by adding a line break.

  1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  2. Place the insertion point where you want to insert a line break.
  3. On the Insert menu, click Break.
  4. Click Normal line break.

ShowTip

To view line break and paragraph marks, click Show All Button image.
