Rotate or flip a graphic
 
  1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  2. Click the graphic.

    If you want to rotate or flip the background graphic, you do not need to make a selection.

  3. On the Pictures toolbar, do any one of the following:

    If the Pictures toolbar is hidden, right-click the graphic, and click Show Pictures Toolbar on the shortcut menu.

    • To rotate a graphic 90 degrees counterclockwise, on the Pictures toolbar, click Rotate Left 90º Button image. To rotate a graphic 90 degrees clockwise, click Rotate Right 90º Button image.
    • To flip a graphic upside down, click Flip Vertical Button image. To flip a graphic to create a mirror image, click Flip Horizontal Button image.
