Save a page shown in a frame

To save a page that is shown in a frame, open the frames page you want to work with, and then do the following:

  1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  2. Click to select the frame showing the page you want to save, and then on the Frames menu, click Save Page As.

The Save As dialog box displays a thumbnail (thumbnail: A miniature representation of a picture on a Web page, usually containing a hyperlink to a full-size version of the graphic. Thumbnails are used to load pages rich in graphics or pictures more quickly in a Web browser.) showing the layout of the frames page. A dark blue box indicates the current page that will be saved in the highlighted frame.

  3. In the File name box, type or select the appropriate file name for the page shown in the selected frame in the thumbnail.
  4. In the Save as type list, click the type of Web page you want to save.
  5. Navigate to the location where you want to save the page.
  6. Click Save.

Note   The title that is shown in the title bar of the browser is the title of the frames page itself, not the title of the page displayed in the frame.
