Rename a frame

Open the page for which you want to rename a frame and do the following:

  1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  2. Right-click anywhere in the frame you want to rename, and then click Frame Properties on the shortcut menu.
  3. In the Name box, type the new name for the frame.

Note  If you rename a frame, any existing hyperlinks anywhere in your Web site that point to the old frame name will no longer work. You must find each occurrence of the hyperlink in your Web site, edit the hyperlink, and change the Target frame box to the new frame name.
