Delete a frame from a frames page

When you delete a frame from a frames page, the page shown in that frame is deleted, but the remaining content of the frames page is not. Whatever page was in the deleted frame disappears from that frames page but is still in your Web site folders. After you delete a frame, the remaining frames expand to fill the space left by the frame you removed.

  1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  2. Select the frame you want to delete by clicking it.
  3. On the Frames menu, click Delete Frame.

Note  If the frames page contains only one frame, you cannot delete that frame. The page shown in that frame will occupy the entire browser window when viewed by a visitor to your site.
