Check the spelling of different languages
 

Important  To check the spelling of different languages, you must install the Microsoft Office 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack or Microsoft Office 2003 Proofing Tools for the languages you want to use in a Web site. In addition, you must enable support for each language through Microsoft Office Language Settings.

ShowSet the spelling language for text

  1. Select the text that you want to mark as a specific language.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Set Language.
  3. In the Mark selected text as list, click the language that you want, and then click OK.

ShowSet the spelling language for a Web page

  1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  2. Right-click the page, click Page Properties on the shortcut menu, and then click the Language tab.
  3. In the Mark current document as list, click the language for the page, and then click OK.

ShowSet the default spelling language for a Web site

  1. On the Tools menu, click Page Options.
  2. On the General tab, in the Default spelling language list, click the default spelling language for the current site.
