When I attempt to add a marquee from the Insert Web Components dialog box, the Marquee option is unavailable.
To use the Marquee option, you must set your Authoring compatibility settings to Microsoft Internet Explorer only. Do the following: - On the Tools menu, click Page Options.
- Click the Authoring tab.
- In the Browsers list, click Microsoft Internet Explorer only, and then click OK.
Why don't I see the Hover Button option in the Insert Web Component dialog box?
The Hover Button option is no longer available in the Insert Web Component dialog box. Either use Interactive Buttons to add dynamic buttons to your Web page, or add the Hover Button command to a menu by doing the following: - On the Tools menu, click Customize.
- Click the Commands tab.
- In the Categories list, click Insert, and then in the Commands list, click Hover Button.
- Drag the command to the menu you want.
The Included Content Web component is grayed out when I attempt to embed a Web page in another Web page.
To embed a Web page in another Web page, both pages must be part of the same Web site. Additionally, you must make the Author-time Web components available, and then the Included Content Web component will become available in the Insert Web Components dialog.To make the Author-time Web components available, do the following:
- On the Tools menu, click Page Options.
- Click the Authoring tab, and then select the Author-time Web Components check box.
My MSNBC Web component has been replaced by an image that links to the MSNBC site.
bCentral is no longer supporting the MSNBC Web components. With the exception of the Weather Forecast from the MSNBC Web component, all MSNBC components will be replaced by an image linking to the MSNBC site.
