MFM Advisors Web site

“Making a professional first impression is critically important for a professional services consultancy,” says Robert McGuire, president and chief operating officer for MFM Advisors. “MFMAdvisors.net quickly began generating prospect inquiries and building brand awareness and credibility for our company.

"FrontPage 2003 helps ensure we make a great first impression with leading-edge visuals, tightly integrated content management tools, and feature-rich visitor functionality.”

Web site requirements

MFM Advisors wanted to develop a Web site focusing on customer acquisition and retention. Brave New Markets, a Microsoft Web Presence Developer offering full-service Internet marketing and e-commerce services, was able to meet their needs using FrontPage 2003. The MFM site provides users with information about the telecom and sales acceleration services provided by MFM and highlights case studies of successful projects.

FrontPage 2003 provides a robust and dependable platform for fast development and management, including built-in site reporting functionality that indicates where visitors spend more time browsing throughout the site.

FrontPage features

Brave New Markets started the development process by defining the information architecture and translating that into a consistent look, feel, and functionality across the site.

They used the Browser compatibility tool, a new feature of FrontPage 2003, to make sure they reached the targeted audience demographic.

Dynamic Web Templates, another a new feature of FrontPage 2003, were utilized during the design phase, allowing for efficient development by multiple people using designated editable page regions.

The Page Rulers and Grids feature played a key role in ensuring that text and graphics were properly balanced and aligned and the Split view feature was a development time-saver when working with HTML, ASP or ASP.NET code.

The Behaviors feature was used to author scripts for graphic roll-over buttons, which were customized to fit the look and feel of the site.

The Database Interface Wizard helped them create forms to collect inquires that can be quickly routed via email to a desktop or mobile phone and then stored in a database for future communications.

Future plans for MFMAdvisors.net include additional database integration and both content and client contact management.
