When you add graphics to a page in Microsoft FrontPage® 2002, you can set the properties — including file name, file format (JPEG or GIF), and file size — for your embedded images and control where and how they are saved. Whether you're working with individual image files or a group of pictures in a Photo Gallery, you can set properties for single images or for multiple images all at once.
To set or change picture properties for an image
- Open a new or existing page in FrontPage 2002, and add or modify a graphic or Photo Gallery.
- In Page view, on the File menu, click Save.
- In the Save Embedded Files dialog box, under Embedded files to save, select the file for which you want to set properties.
- Do one or more of the following:
- Click the Rename button to rename the file.
- Click the Change Folder button to change the file location.
- Click the Set Action button to choose how to save the file.
- Click the Picture Options button to select a picture file format (JPEG or GIF), and then click OK.
- Select other images you want to set properties for and repeat steps 3 and 4.
- When you have set the properties for all the pictures in your page, click OK.
Note To change the properties of a JPEG or GIF file that has already been saved to the page, you need to modify the image in some way and then resave the page.
