How to create and link to bookmarks in FrontPage 2002

If you want to create a hyperlink that takes you to another section of your current page or to a section of another page, you need to "bookmark" that section first and then create a hyperlink to the bookmark.

To create a hyperlink to a bookmark

  1. Place your cursor where you want your bookmark.

  2. On the Insert menu, select Bookmark.

  3. In the Bookmark name box, enter a name for your bookmark.

  4. Now create a hyperlink to your bookmark by highlighting a word and clicking Insert, then Hyperlink. Select the page in which you created the bookmark, and then select the bookmark as the destination. Click OK.

Note  You can link to a bookmark on another page in your Web site by opening the target page and linking to it. When you do, the hyperlink dialog box shows you a list of the bookmarks available on the target page. Simply select the bookmark you want and click OK.
