Using the Border Dropdown Tool in FrontPage 2002

The Border Dropdown Tool Button in Microsoft FrontPage®version 2002 allows you to quickly and conveniently add borders to text or graphics. This makes adding borders in FrontPage as easy as it is in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel, without having to put the text or graphics into tables.

To use the Border Dropdown Tool, open a new or existing Web page in FrontPage 2002 and do the following:

  1. First insert and select the text or graphic to be formatted.
  2. Select the Border icon from the Formatting toolbar.
  3. Choose from various border formatting options.

Tip   To quickly put a box around a paragraph, select the paragraph and click Outside Borders in the Border dropdown tool. Now, you can change the color of the new border around your paragraph by clicking anywhere on the border to select it. Then from the Format menu, click on Borders and Shading…, select the Borders tab and go to Color: to change the color.
