Feature to Use

  • Insert | Picture

Specific Steps to Take

To use an image rather than the standard Submit button in a form, follow these steps:

  1. If you have a form already, skip to step 5.
  2. In Page View, click New on the File menu.
  3. Click the General tab. Select Normal Page, and click OK.
  4. Create your form.
  5. Click to select the Submit button and press DELETE. The Submit button disappears.
  6. Make sure the cursor is where the Submit button used to be.
  7. On the Insert menu, select Picture, then From File.
  8. Select the image you want and click OK.

When you click this button on the form, the contents of the form will be submitted. Note that you can also use an animated GIF.

Note  These steps create a generic button that submits the contents of the form. To reset the form, you will need to use the standard Reset button.
