Move a layered object forward or backward in a stack

In Microsoft FrontPage 2002, drawing objects automatically stack in individual layers as you add them. You see the stacking order when objects overlap the top object covers a portion of objects beneath it.

You can move individual objects or groups of objects in a stack. For example, you can move objects up or down within a stack one layer at a time, or you can move them to the top or bottom of a stack in one move.

To move an object forward or backward, do the following:

  1. Select the object you want to move.

If the object is hidden, select any object, and then press TAB until the object you want is selected.

  2. Do one of the following:

ShowBring an object one layer closer to the front

  • On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, point to Order, and then click Bring Forward.
