Microsoft® FrontPage® 2002 SharePoint™ Team Services v1.0 from Microsoft® |
Using shared borders in a SharePoint Team Services-based Web site, you can place a header at the top of every page in your Web site. For example, you may want to quickly add your company name to every page on your SharePoint Team Services-based Intranet Web site.
To place a header at the top of every page in your SharePoint Team Services-based Web site, open the Web site with FrontPage 2002 and edit it directly on the server as follows:
- On the Format menu, click Shared Borders.
- Click All pages.
- Select the Top border. It will now appear on every page in the current Web site.
- Open the Default.htm page in Page view, add the content you want by selecting the comment in the dashed lines displayed at the top of the page indicating the shared border, and then enter your company name to replace it.
- Save the page.
Tip Use a page banner inside a shared border to quickly add titles to multiple pages in your Web. Page banners use the styles and graphics of a theme or can just display text, which you then format. Page banners use the page titles from Navigation view; if you change the title for a page, its page banner label will also change.
