Quickly Change Navigational Elements From Text To Buttons

Using Microsoft FrontPage® 2002, you can quickly change formatting of navigational elements such as links in a link bar in Web sites based on SharePoint™ Team Services from Microsoft or on FrontPage 2002. For example, in just a couple of steps you can turn text links into buttons. The buttons you can choose from are based on the styles of all the themes available. You can also use button styles from a theme that has been applied to your Web site. This means you can also use custom buttons from new themes you've made.

To change text links into buttons in a SharePoint team Web site, open it with FrontPage 2002 and edit it directly on the server as follows:

  1. In Page view, double-click the top link bar.
  2. Click the Style tab.
  3. In the Choose a style list, select the link bar style you want to use for this link bar.

Tip  You can turn buttons back into text links or change the text style by scrolling to the bottom of the styles in the Choose a style list where there are 7 text styles to choose from.
