Preview view

The Preview view shows an approximate view of what the page would look like in a Web browser.

Finally, you can preview your page in the Preview view. Preview view lets you see what the page will look like when rendered in a browser. Things like dashed lines for tables won't appear in this view.

It's important to know that the Preview view provides an approximate view; it is not exactly what the page will look like in a browser. However, when you need a quick glance to make sure a paragraph or layout element looks right, Preview view gives you a quick confirmation.

Note     The Preview view tries its best to display the page as if it were in a browser, but it's not perfect. Because there are many different browsers available, it's always best to preview your pages in those browsers.
