Since a width was not specified for this table, the contents of the widest row (the bottom row) determine the width.
If you don't specify a width for an HTML table, then the row with the widest contents will determine the width.
For example, the table shown here doesn't have a width specified. Consequently, the bottom row determines the width since its content is the widest.
You might use this option if you need a simple table with data. But if you want a little more control, the next two options are better for your needs.
