If you want to move (or copy) a formatting command from its traditional position on the Format menu or Formatting toolbar to the Help menu, you can. This, of course, might not be a sensible place to put it, but you do have the ability to move or copy things to wherever you want them.
Move a menu, command, or button With the Customize dialog box open, click outside of the dialog box, directly on the menu, toolbar, or button you wish to move and then drag it into the desired position.
As you can see in Figure 1, the item you select to move is marked with a solid black outline. The insertion point is marked by a black I-shaped mark, which can be vertical or horizontal. The pointer has a grey rectangle while you are dragging to indicate that you are moving something.
Copy a menu, command, or button Copying an item is just as easy. With the Customize dialog box open, select the item you wish to copy and hold down the CTRL key as you drag the new item to your desired position. As you can see in Figure 2, when you are copying, the insertion point is again marked by a black I-shaped mark and the pointer has a gray rectangle and a plus sign (+), which indicates that you are copying instead of moving the button.
