An example of a screen display set to a high contrast color scheme for a person with vision disabilities.
How do people with vision disabilities use computers? How can you make your documents suitable for them? This lesson covers how computers are used by people with vision disabilities and what you can do to make your documents accessible for people who are blind, have low vision, or are color blind. Some of the areas we will look at are adding text descriptions to images, hyperlinks, font size, and color settings.
The first part of this lesson covers people who are blind, then the lesson moves on to other vision disabilities. To continue reading this lesson on your own, click the Next button.
