Changing database results field labels in FrontPage 2002

When a database results region is formatted as a table, the table column headings are called Field labels. In Microsoft FrontPage® 2002, you can rename or format the field labels as needed. For example, you may want to modify the field labels to use familiar names instead of the assigned values. First you need to add database functionality to your web site if it doesn't have it already, (see "Using the Database Interface Wizard").

To change a database results field label your Web site using FrontPage 2002, do the following:

In Page view, open a database results page (example: results_page.asp).

To replace a label with a new name, select the field label you want to modify, and then type a different label.

Tip    In a database results region formatted as a table, Field labels are displayed in bold text at the top of each column. In a database results region formatted as a list, Field labels are displayed in bold text to the left of the value of the field.
