• Download Microsoft Power Query for Excel

    Microsoft Power Query is an Excel add-in that enhances the self-service Business Intelligence experience in Excel by simplifying data discovery and access. Power Query enables users to easily discover, combine, and refine data for better analysis in Excel. Power Query includes a public search feature that is currently intended for use in the United States only.

    Install Microsoft Power Query in Excel 2013

    Prerequisites:

    • Requires Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus, Office 365 ProPlus or Excel 2013 Standalone.
    • Supported operating systems include: Windows Vista (with .Net 3.5 SP1), Windows Server 2008 (with .Net 3.5 SP1), Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7 or Windows 8.

    Download & Install Microsoft Power Query for Excel.

    Important: If you are using the 32-bit version of Excel 2013, you must use the 32-bit version of Microsoft Power Query for Excel. If you are using the 64-bit version of Excel 2013, you must use the 64-bit version of Microsoft Power Query for Excel. The versions are not interchangeable.

    • Open the folder where you downloaded Microsoft Power Query for Excel.
    • Double-click the downloaded installer file, and then follow the steps in the wizard.
    • After the installation is complete, click Finish.
    • Power Query will appear as a new tab in the Excel ribbon.

    • Requires Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus with Software Assurance.
    • Note: You must have Software Assurance for Office Professional Plus through Volume Licensing in order to use Microsoft Power Query for Excel with Office 2010 Professional Plus.
    • Supported operating systems include: Windows Vista (with .Net 3.5 SP1), Windows Server 2008 (with .Net 3.5 SP1), Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7 or Windows 8.

    Important: If you are using the 32-bit version of Excel 2010, you must use the 32-bit version of Microsoft Power Query for Excel. If you are using the 64-bit version of Excel 2010, you must use the 64-bit version of Microsoft Power Query for Excel. The versions are not interchangeable.
