Function names express long formulas quickly.
You don't have to retype to capitalize words, and you don't have to delete extra spaces by hand, which is especially good to know when you're editing lots and lots of text, in lots of different cells. In this lesson you'll see how to clean up information quickly by typing a prewritten formula called a function, and then applying it to many cells. In the practice session at the end of the lesson, you'll have a chance to use the formulas and functions you've learned.
